What is 'Strong You' About?

Strong You is a community-led International Women’s Day event created to celebrate, empower, and connect women in Watford and beyond.
Where the money goes
All funds raised through this event (ticket sales, donations, sponsorships, and raffle proceeds) will be donated to One YMCA.
No personal profit
To be completely clear: I do not make any profit from this event.
No money raised goes to me personally. This event is organised voluntarily.
Full transparency
I am committed to full transparency and accountability. After the event, I will share:

A breakdown of how funds were collected (tickets/donations/sponsorship/raffle)

Why I created 'Strong You'
4.5 years ago, my family and I moved to the UK, knowing no one and without a support network. In Watford, I found community through the Chamber of Commerce and met supportive, welcoming people. That journey helped me grow and build my business, and I was honoured to receive two awards along the way.
Strong You exists because I want other women to feel what I found here: connection, encouragement, and the reminder that you are not alone.
What to expect at the event
Expect a warm, welcoming space for women to connect, share, and feel supported, with inspiring moments, conversation, and networking, all while raising funds for a local women’s charity.
