A Journey in Three Suitcases
Lee Granot Romi

Losing Everything. Finding Yourself. Starting Again.

I wrote A Journey in Three Suitcases because loss has a way of changing not only the life around us, but the person we thought we were. This is my story, but perhaps parts of it will feel like yours, too.

If you’ve ever lost your way, had to start again, or wondered whether you’ll ever recognise yourself again, I hope you’ll find something here that reminds you: your story isn’t over yet.

I really hope that by the end of my book, you will slowly find your way back to life and understand how strong and powerful you really are.

Be proud of your achievements and always rememeber that you are amazing.

Love,

Lee

I thought the journey was about everything I had lost.

The people. The places. The life I thought I was supposed to have.

But somewhere between who I had been and who I was becoming, I began to understand that sometimes you have to lose your way before you can begin to find yourself again.

Lee Romi.jpg

Lee Romi is a photographer, graphic designer and storyteller, and the author of A Journey in Three Suitcases, a deeply personal memoir about loss, resilience and finding yourself when life takes you somewhere you never expected to go.

Through her own story, Lee explores what it means to lose your sense of home, identity and direction, and the long, imperfect journey towards rediscovering who you are.

A Journey in Three Suitcases is not just a story about what was lost. It is a story about what can be found along the way.
